Como interpretar el SSI, en pocas palabras este ratio es un indicador contradictorio, esto quiere decir que si la mayoria o si hay un alto porcentaje de traders que están operando en venta-short, o largo-compra uno deberia tratar de posicionarse a la inversa. En el caso del Euro Dolar, está creciendo el porcentaje de traders que se están posicionando a la venta, entonces, deberiamos estar pendientes para una oportunidad de compra un posible rebote. de eso se trata este indicador.

EURUSD - The ratio of long to short positions in the EURUSD stands at -1.02 as nearly 50% of traders are short. Yesterday, the ratio was at 1.35 as 57% of open positions were long. In detail, long positions are 0.2% lower than yesterday and 26.8% weaker since last week. Short positions are 37.2% higher than yesterday and 37.0% stronger since last week. Open interest is 15.7% stronger than yesterday and 2.5% below its monthly average. The SSI is a contrarian indicator and signals more EURUSD gains.

GBPUSD - The ratio of long to short positions in the GBPUSD stands at -1.03 as nearly 51% of traders are short. Yesterday, the ratio was at -1.07 as 52% of open positions were short. In detail, long positions are 0.5% higher than yesterday and 32.0% weaker since last week. Short positions are 3.8% lower than yesterday and 4.5% weaker since last week. Open interest is 1.7% weaker than yesterday and 17.3% below its monthly average. The SSI is a contrarian indicator and signals more GBPUSD gains.
